What the Job Looks Like

Bronkhorst USA Technicians will perform service, repair, recalibration and light assembly of gas and liquid metering and control instrumentation.  These activities will be accomplished at our Bethlehem, PA location.  Customer site visits may be required from time to time.  Bronkhorst Technicians must be excellent problem solvers that provide world class customer service and workmanship. Technicians are expected to perform the following duties.

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair of Bronkhorst products within the service laboratory, in accordance with established repair processes, practices and procedures.
  • Formally report and document service and / or repair results.
  • Provide assistance as needed to customers, manufacturer’s representatives, and sales staff for the proper application, installation and operation of company’s products.
  • Prepare service quotations, and process service orders.  This could include customer contact through a variety of verbal, written and electronic means.
  • Maintain and track returned materials.
  • Maintain a safe and environmentally friendly work and storage area.
  • Ability to travel periodically domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to conform to Federal, State, local and company defined safety standards.


Important Qualifications to your Success

  • Self-starter who has the ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Can work well within a team environment
  • Understanding of basic electronics, mechanical subsystems, and software skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic serial communications protocols RS-232C, RS-485, DeviceNet and Profibus is desired.
  • A working knowledge of gas or liquid flow and/or vacuum and processes is highly desirable.
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly self-confident individual with an ability to accept responsibility for one’s own work.
  • A quick learner who possesses a curious nature that results in a strong desire for continued learning.
  • Minimum - Technical school graduate with accreditation in an electronics discipline.
  • Preferred – Associate Degree in an electronics discipline. 
  • Preferred - 1 – 4 years of industrial experience in an electronics field.
