The story

“I was already interested in Bronkhorst before I joined the company. What attracted me most is how many different technologies come together in the products and the fact that Bronkhorst develops its own unique solutions. The role of Sales Engineer immediately appealed to me because, coming from a commercial background, I wanted to deepen my technical knowledge. At Bronkhorst, I got that opportunity. In my role as a Sales Engineer, being customer-focused and reliable is the foundation of my work. I naturally switch quickly between topics and always aim to find the best solution. I work within the Customer Care department, where I support distributors in the DACH region together with my team. These distributors assist end customers and collaborate with us at the headquarters in Ruurlo to find the right answers. Because of our broad and in-depth product portfolio, the work is very diverse and continuously presents new challenges. Together with my department, I’m responsible for supporting our distributors in a professional and service-oriented way. By understanding the application behind each request, I help connect the right technology to the right solution, directly contributing to customer satisfaction. Although I work independently on projects and tickets, collaboration is key. Within Customer Care, we operate as one team with short lines of communication and strong cooperation across regions."

Projects and challenges 

"One project I’m particularly proud of is my participation in the Analytica trade fair in Munich. Together with colleagues from Bronkhorst and partners Flusys and Wagner, I represented the company at the exhibition. The collaboration was very successful, and the quality of the leads was high. It was a great opportunity to present Bronkhorst in a professional and positive way to both prospects and customers. 

A recent challenge I worked on involved splitting a large order from a DACH distributor into multiple orders within our ERP system and guiding the entire process, both internally and externally. I started by clearly mapping all requirements and aligning with colleagues and the distributor on the best approach. This taught me how important it is to think through the most practical solution first and communicate it clearly and convincingly. 

At Bronkhorst, you are given a lot of freedom to develop yourself, as long as you take initiative. There are always colleagues with specific expertise who are happy to help. Since I started, I have learned a lot about the products, processes and working in an international organization. 

My personal goal is to continue expanding and deepening my knowledge of the product portfolio. As a team, we are also working on improving communication with our distributors, and I actively contribute to that effort."

"I experience the culture at Bronkhorst as open and people-oriented. Colleagues are supportive, and you are given the space to grow both professionally and personally. What I especially appreciate is that I work for a family business with a global presence, where trust and independence are key. 

What motivates me most is the dynamic nature of the role and solving challenges for customers and distributors. The collaboration with colleagues and interaction with external partners give me a lot of energy.
