Handling of information

We retain and store all information you voluntarily transmit to us when using our website via our “Contact Form” or “Request Form”. We use the contact information for purposes such as fulfilling our contractual olbigations, responding to your questions and requests, and improving and personalizing our communications with you.

We will only collect and process personal data which are necessary and relevant. We process data as this is necessary for the execution of the agreement. Processing is necessary to be able to deliver our products and services for example. We may also process personal data if this is required on the basis of a statutory obligation. It is also possible that we process personal data because we have a legitimate interest in doing so. Finally, we may process personal data on the basis of your permission. For instance, we request your permission before we place cookies or when you enter your information in a contact form. In order to follow up our contractual obligations, your requests and to optimize our services for you, we reserve the right to share your contact information with our subsidiaries, distributors and agents of our products and services.

We use external services to store (some of) our sales records, of which your personal data form part. Your personal data will therefore be made available to our service providers. For handling our requests,we use Zendesk https://www.zendesk.co.uk/company/customers-partners/eu-data-protection.
We also use Microsoft Office and the related storage facilities for emails and other files, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/trustcenter/privacy/you-own-your-data. Since we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data will ultimately be forwarded to Mailchimp, the provider of this service, https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

E-mail communications

From time to time, in order to provide our users with offers for our products and services or other promotional material, and any other information that we think might be of interest to them, we may send unsolicited email messages to users who, in the course of using our website, have provided us with their e-mail addresses and have given permission for direct marketing. We also send email messages to existing customers. If at any time you wish not to receive such e-mail messages from us, please unsubscribe using the opt-out function at the bottom of the e-mail message or contact us at [email protected].

Cookies


Through our website, there is also a cookie placed by Google (see https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en&gl=nl) and Hotjar (see https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy and (https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/gdpr-commitment), as part of their analytics services. We use these services to track and get reports on how visitors use the site. Your rights

You have the right to ask us to grant you access to your personal data. Where necessary, you can also request that we add to or correct your personal data. In addition, you have the right to ask for your personal data to be deleted or for the use of your personal data to be restricted. You can also raise an objection with us concerning the collection and use of your data or submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Projection Authority. Finally, you can ask us to send you your personal data or for your personal data to be transferred to a third party. Retention period for personal data

If you are not a client, we will remove your data directly. If you are a direct or indirect client, we will keep your personal data for seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully implemented. This seven-year period corresponds to the period during which we are required to retain our records for the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. At the end of this period, we will remove your personal data.

Security

Bronkhorst High-Tech takes the protection of your data seriously. We take all reasonable possible organisational and technical (security) measures to protect your personal data to prevent abuse, loss and other unexpected security breaches. If you are of the view that your data are not properly protected or there are indications of abuse, please contact us.
