How do ultrasonic flow meters work?
The ES-FLOW ultrasonic flow meter operates by emitting ultrasonic waves that travel through the liquid. The meter measures the time it takes for the waves to travel upstream and downstream. By calculating the difference in travel times, the meter determines the flow velocity.
These robust and versatile meters are insensitive to external vibrations and can handle liquids containing small particles or dissolved gases. The ultrasonic wave technology automatically adjusts to the measured speed of sound, making the device liquid-independent and eliminating the need for calibration.
When combined with a dosing pump, the ES-FLOW ultrasonic flow meter offers precise liquid dosing solutions, enhancing efficiency in processes requiring accurate delivery.
