Bronkhorst’s flow solutions play a vital role in maintaining the delicate balance required for low-temperature CO₂ electrolysis—where even minor fluctuations in flow or humidity can impact efficiency and product yield.
The integration of Bronkhorst technology supports eChemicles’ mission to deliver scalable, clean chemical production powered by renewable energy.
Application requirements
In parallel, eChemicles developed a lab-scale electrolyzer system to further optimize and validate their process under controlled conditions. For this, they selected Bronkhorst’s compact and integrated vaporizer solution, combining a gas mass flow controller and a liquid mass flow meter. This setup ensures precise CO₂ dosing and stable water vapor delivery, even under fluctuating conditions. The system’s pressure resilience and material compatibility were key to its selection. Compared to traditional steam-based systems, the Bronkhorst solution proved more compact, reliable, and precise, reinforcing eChemicles’ commitment to innovation at every scale.
